Feature

A 1500 word feature has been our assignment for the past 2 weeks, it could be about anything we wanted.
We looked at different types (investigatve,entertainment,comment,critical,informative) from the daily mail. I found a little john feature on the politicians new autobigraphys, why is britian so hooked on crisps and a feature on government crack down on immigration. I found it hard to distingush a feature at first but now i know more, im amazed at how many there really are.
I choose to expand on a piece i had submitted to the lynn news about sibling rivalry which came about after the labour leadership conference.
I enjoyed the research to back it up, seeing what the consequence was of sibling rivalry and how its linked to many parents having an only child. I got bang on 1500 words so i was proud of myself :) It was published in the LynnNews but i wasnt too happy as they cut out a lot so i came across as quite heartless and my sister a saint when its actually the opposite.
